Email TopicOn this page in the software, you can choose assignments to use for the skills that you have selected.
The skills that you selected in the previous step are listed on the left under "Selected Skills." The first skill is already highlighted, and the Accelerated Math Instructional Practice assignments (resources) that are available for that skill are listed in the middle column. (If you want to change the list of selected skills, select Change next to the "Selected Skills" heading to go back.)
Adding Assignments to Your Plan
The assignments for the skill you've selected on the left are listed in the middle column. To add one of the assignments to your plan, select + Add.
In the list that opens, select the day when you want students to start seeing the assignment in the Assignments List on their Home page.
The assignment will be added to the day you selected in the "Schedule" list on the right. If you want to change the day that you chose, select the green check mark; then, select a different day in the list.
After you finish adding assignments for one skill, you can select the next skill to find assignments for that skill.
Previewing an Assignment
To preview an assignment for one of the skills, select the Preview link in the top right corner of the assignment card.
You will then see the first problem in a sample assignment; answer each problem and select Next >, or select the squares at the bottom of the window to go to another question. After the last problem, select Finish; then, select Finish again to confirm that you are done.
If you decide that you want to use the assignment, you can select + Add to Plan at the top of the page. (You can also add the assignment as described above after you close the preview.)
To close the preview tab or window, select Close Preview in the top right corner.
Finding Other Types of Assignments
By default, you can find and assign Accelerated Math assignments. If you would like to find and assign other types of assignments, such as Star Custom skill checks or instructional resources (from Renaissance and other sources), select . Then, select the types of assignments to include and/or the sources as shown below. The types of assignments that are available depend on the products that your school has purchased. When you're done, select Apply to update the list of results.
Removing Assignments from the Schedule
If you want to remove an assignment that you've selected from the schedule on the right, select the X next to that skill. (The X will turn red when you move the mouse pointer over it.)
Going on to the Review Step
When you have finished choosing the assignments for this plan, select Review at the bottom of the page. On the next page, you can review and adjust the days when you will teach the skills and use the assignments.
