On this page, you can decide whether to start Clever integration now or later.
After integration, Clever will be the source of your students, teachers, and enrollments in Renaissance software, and users can open Renaissance software through Clever. If you have not yet checked the lists of Clever students and Renaissance students, select Finish Setup Later to go back and check that information.
If you want to review user matches again before you start integration, select Finish Setup Later. You will go back to the Manage Apps & Users page, where you will see the Clever status; select Review and Integrate on that page to review user matching.
If you are ready to begin Clever integration, select Start Integration. A message will open with more information about what happens next. In that message, you can check the box to receive an email when integration is complete. When you're ready to begin, select Start Integration.
If you chose to receive an email when integration is complete, next you will see a message that tells you the email address that will be used. If that email is not the one you want to use, check Use a different email address. Then, enter the email address that you want to use instead in both the Email Address and the Confirm Email Address fields that appear. When you're ready to continue, select Use this Email.
You will go back to the Manage Apps & Users page, where you will see the Clever status, which will tell you at first that integration is in progress. When integration is done, you can select Manage Clever Integration to manage information related to Clever integration. If there are errors during integration, you can retry integration or view details to resolve the errors.
Note that after you go live, you still need to
- Assign products to classes: Teachers and students can't use Renaissance products until those products have been assigned to their classes.
- Add non-teacher personnel: Although the Clever integration adds your students and teachers, it does not add other staff and administrators. See Add School Personnel to add your school administrators and staff and Add District Personnel to add district administrators and staff. Note: The user permission group that you choose for each person you add determines what that person can do in Renaissance software.
- Check Data Editing Restrictions: Data Editing Restrictions will automatically be set once your Clever integration is live. These restrictions prevent users from making changes that should only be made in Clever, such as changes to student information, courses, and classes. Changes made in Clever will be reflected in Renaissance after the next sync.
