Unlocking Students and Personnel

Whether you are a student, teacher, staff member, or administrator, when you see a message like the one shown here, you have entered the wrong password too many times (5 times), and the software has locked your account.

Account locks are temporary. For students, accounts unlock automatically after 5 minutes. For personnel, accounts unlock automatically after 30 minutes.

You can also unlock individual students or personnel:

1. Select your name at the top of the page.
2. Select Manage Apps & Users.
3. Select Users.
4. Search for the user (student or staff member) whose record is locked; then select the user in the list of search results.
5. Select Unlock Student or Unlock User.
