Whether you are a student, teacher, staff member, or administrator, when you see a message like the one shown here, you have entered the wrong password too many times (5 times), and the software has locked your account.
Account locks are temporary. For students, accounts unlock automatically after 5 minutes. For personnel, accounts unlock automatically after 30 minutes.
Teachers and administrators can unlock students sooner, and district-level administrators can unlock personnel. Click the link that applies below.
Personnel password management (includes steps for unlocking all personnel)
You can also unlock individual students or personnel:
- Select your name at the top of the page.
- Select Manage Apps & Users.
- Select Users.
- Search for the user (student or staff member) whose record is locked; then select the user in the list of search results.
- Select Unlock Student or Unlock User.
Students who don't know their password should talk to their teacher; teachers and staff who don't know their password should talk to their software administrator or reset their password if possible. If you are the administrator and you need more help, contact Support for assistance.
