Guided Independent Reading	This study of Accelerated Reader was conducted to update the original Guided Independent Reading publication (Paul, 2003) with a larger, more current sample (data collected during the 2010–2011 school year and includes more than 2 million students representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia) and analyses targeted to recent trends in educational standards and recommendations.
