You can see the My Goals page after you take a quiz or whenever you click or tap Progress at the top of the page. This page shows your tokens for all the books and articles that you read and took quizzes for this school year.
Every time you read a book or an article and pass a quiz, you will get a new token.
If you got all the questions right, your token will look like a trophy: .
If you passed but got some questions wrong, your token will be a star: .
Your tokens will be under the animal badges. Every time you pass a quiz, you will fill in a new token. When you get all the tokens for an animal badge, you can see the animal. Then, you will start with the next animal. You will see a goal for how many badges you should try to earn. This student has read two books and passed the quizzes, so the student has two tokens, but the student can't see the first animal yet.
This student has read many books and passed the quizzes. The student finished the first badge, so they can see the animal (Hardey). Now the student is working on the second badge. This student's goal is to get eight badges. The student can click a badge to see which books and articles were part of that badge.
Tokens for short books go in Greenwood Glen. Medium books go in Timber Park. Long books go in Pinnacle Peak. You may not see all of these places. If you read other books that don't belong in these three places, you will see them in Boundary Wilds.
When you click or tap an animal badge, you will see the books and articles you read to get the tokens.
You can see more about each book you have read. You will see each book's name, its level, your score, and how many points you earned.
To go find more books to read, click or tap Find a book.
When you're done looking at the books, select Close.
At the top of the page, you will see more about the books you read this school year. You will see how much of your reading was true stories (nonfiction) and made-up stories (fiction). Nonfiction is dark blue, and fiction is light blue. This student has read more fiction than nonfiction.
After that, you will see:
- how many words you read
- how many activities you finished (like quizzes)
- how many points you earned from your quizzes
- your average or overall quiz score
- the average level of the books you read
Under that, you might see the levels of books that you can read to practice so that your reading keeps getting better.
If you read in both English and Spanish, you might see book levels for both.
